Rescue Slabs is a Hudson Valley–based woodshop focused on custom furniture, architectural millwork, flooring, and paneling. We source logs locally and process them in-house—controlling each step from raw material through final installation.
Our work is rooted in the material itself, using each piece of wood in a way that complements the space rather than forcing uniformity.
Locally Sourced
We work with a network of local arborists to source logs throughout the Hudson Valley, often with known origin and history.
Processed In-House
Material is sawn, dried, and processed in-house, allowing full control over quality, selection, and preparation.

Full Circle Woodworking
In many cases, we are able to follow material from the point it is removed through to its final use—transforming trees into finished work within the same area they came from.
We produce a range of custom woodwork, including furniture, cabinetry, doors, bartops, wide plank flooring, paneling, mouldings, and architectural millwork. Each project is developed based on the space and the material being used.
We’re a small team working hands-on with material every day—sourcing logs, milling them in-house, and building each project from the ground up. Keeping everything under one roof allows us to stay closely connected to the work and maintain a consistent standard across every piece.
